Lewis Watson Live at Bush Hall London - Wednesday 4 May

Performing on Wednesday 4 May

With support from Ten Tonnes

****

The quaint, idyllic and incredibly cosy Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush, London was last night filled with the beautiful echo of several hundred fans accompanying a man with a blissful voice and a guitar. Everyone's 2013 top artist Lewis Watson has a sophomore album that is long overdue out "soon (TM)" to put it in his own words. Therefore, it was only right that after a year and a half break from touring that he should hold an exclusive 3 date tour to promote what is promising to be some of his best material yet.

The intimate affair was opened by up and coming wonder boy Ten Tonnes (real name Ethan) A burst of fresh air in the music scene who's guitar laden songs are gritty and folky and oh so wonderful and charming. You can check out his latest EP here

Bush Hall is no bigger than two of my living rooms, fully furnished with soft carpets and crystal chandeliers, truly a venue like no other. The interior definitely aided the intimacy of the gig. Lewis' 1 and half hour long set had the perfect division of new and old songs, which included an up close and personal encore with his cover of the classic Guillemot's belter "Made Up Love song 43"

A very enjoyable and pleasant gig.
