High Tyde Live at Scala, London - Tuesday 1st November

Performing on Tuesday 1st November

With support from Joy Room and HAUS

****

Brighton based band High Tyde are truly a 'band on the rise' They have been featured on BBC Radio 1 several times this year alone. They have found a fan in One Direction's Louis Tomlinson. But with their infectious grooves and immense stage presence, is it really any wonder why they are getting so much attention?

Kings Cross' Scala, filled to the brim with teenagers steaming off the thrills of cheap alcohol consumed outside of the venue (because nobody can afford to get drunk inside Scala, and I truly mean nobody) permeated the floor with a joyous uproar of mosh pits and jumping that lasted throughout. Typical gig behaviour, but last night it feel a lot more meaningful watching people throw themselves about to music that deserves that kind of reception. The perfect compliment to High Tyde's electrifying set.
