Lost (And Found) by The Seamonsters - Review

Lost (And Found) by The Seamonsters

****

Six-piece indie girl band The Seamonsters release their new single Lost (And Found) in a time where some light is needed to brighten up the genre. With the floods of heavy, robust indie tunes pouring through the seams in the last few months, it is about time a more uplifting piece is given the ability to break through.

Formed in Sheffield in 2013 and constantly evolving as a band and their fanbase forever increasing due to the power of social media, Lost (And Found) proves that The Seamonsters are not only passionate, but that they carry the characteristics of what a 'true indie band' should possess - creativity, enthusiasm and artistic integrity.

Their colourful, joyous and infectious single mirrors the likes of Wolf Alice and Swim Deep. It immerses us back into the forgotten fine art of summery, feel good indie pop. Whimsical and utterly charming, the use of catchy guitar lines blended with the quirky keyboard sounds is flawless. The to-be integral part of any summer playlist.
